Mom and baby looking of park model RV

Frequently Asked Questions

How much does it all cost?

We charge nothing if we do not sell your unit within one calendar year, the listing fee of $395 plus HST would be fully refunded. When we sell your unit, we charge a marketing fee of $3,500 for travel trailers and $5000 for Park Models, in most cases this fee is simply added to the desired amount the seller is looking to achieve. We are also expert negotiators. Where you may be tempted to accept a low first offer, we are very good at bringing in quality offers and handling the negotiating and counter-offer phase of the transaction. We more than make up for our commission by negotiating on your behalf to get you the right price.

Can I still try to sell on my own?

Absolutely! We only receive a marketing fee if WE sell your RV. If you sell your unit to a buyer you found we only receive the listing fee. We’re just extra help for you to find a buyer and get your unit sold.

Do I have to sign a contract?

Yes, we can only move forward if you sign our marketing agreement. It lays out our duties (to do our best to sell your RV/Park Model) and your responsibilities (to keep us updated on changes to the sale). There is a limited cost for our service and our marketing fee comes out of the final purchase price before the balance is transferred to you.

What is the experience of Real RV?

Our team has been in the RV/Park Model business for over 25 years and we understand how important it is to sell the resort lifestyle not just your Park Model or Trailer. We are also experts at marketing the product and have a strong knowledge of internet marketing. We have a set of technology and processes that are finely tuned for selling. If we can’t sell your RV, you’ve lost nothing.

Can I also place my RV with other brokers or real estate agents ?

No. While working with us, you can sell on your own but you cannot list or advertise your RV with another dealer or brokerage. This is because buyers can get easily confused when they find the same unit for sale at multiple places, especially if the price or details are slightly different.

Does it matter where I am?

Yes, of course. While we wish we were everywhere, we’re not. We’re new and growing, so we may be in your area soon. For the meantime, we are in all of Ontario.

Will You Broker Any RV?

We only broker RVs that has been approved to be sold in the resort it is located.

What does an RV Broker do?

The main job of a brokerage is to match up buyers and sellers. Like a real estate broker doesn’t actually own the home they are advertising, brokers don’t actually own the RVs that they advertise for sale.

Sellers depend on the broker to advertise their RV for them and find interested buyers. Once a willing buyer is found, the broker will handle all the contracts, escrow, coordination, documentation, and closing.
